Sodop Unduk Ngadau 2010 - 20/5/2010

We (Sebastian & Me) just had a very exhausted weekend. On the last thursday night, we headed to the neighbour of the tip of Borneo which is Kota Marudu to witness Sodop Unduk Ngadau or the Gala Night for the Harvest festival beauty pageant (widely known as the remembrance of the Huminodun legend). This is our first time attending beauty pageant gala night at remote site area such as Kota Marudu. Our expectation was like a normal night, sit down and watch the participant doing catwalks, enjoy the food and take some photos with the participants. However, the event was totally awesome and we did not expect that Abu Bakar Ella will be the emcee for the night, never thought that there will be performance by our local artist and also imported ones from Peninsular, we did not expect the event turn out so stunning and very exciting! Moreover, there were funfair just outside the hall. The scene just like the grand event in KDCA! Thanks to Cahaya Bridal for giving us an opportunity to experience of such great event and learn that a good teamwork produce a very good impression. Here are some of the photos for your view.
